V5c identifies this car as starting live as a Morris 1000, the original project was started 12 years ago by an enthusiast but life and family overtook the project.

Listed as Historic Vehicle with zero VED applied. (Please note that although the tax is zero rated it still needs to be applied for and maintained at change of ownership or the vehicle is illegal on the road and you will be fined).

I am not using it enough to justify keeping it, it's been a lot of fun up to now.
Located in post code TA6 you need to pay for it before you can drive it, rides are optional.

The interior is essentially retro original trim with bucket seats.

Car was MoT'd in May.

Original speedo showing 59,000 which based on the tax disk and history documentation from 12 years ago is probably genuine.

You can believe and see this car has has had lots of modifications and replacement items fitted.
Some to mention a few include :-

13" alloy wheels (repainted Old English White)
new radius arms new rear sub frame
Mini Sport wide body kit
quick rack
Metro 4 pot front disc brakes
alloy fined rear drums
new fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator
MPi larger fuel tank, aero filler
fitted boost/vac, broad band Lambda, battery voltage gauge
deep dish steering wheel with column drop bracket
MG Metro Turbo engine and gearbox
HIF44 carb fuelling
SS big bore double exit exhaust
straight cut drop gears to gearbox
short shift gear change
Hi-Lo's fitted to front
re trimming of the dash board rails are in BRG
New door cards and rear seats
new roof liner
ALDON distributor

The car has been painted in pearlescent green close to a modern interpretation of BRG with an Old English White roof.
The paint work is new, post major shell refurbishment (photographic history available to view).
Front wings are de-seamed
No rot, no rust.

The engine is rolling road tuned by a local Somerset reputable tuner, the engine was rebuilt with no expense spared.
I have a rolling road print out of the performance curve, the clutch was new on rebuild.
The tune was completed at the low boost of 3.5psi but the straight cut drop gears fitted allow the boost can be increased to 7psi via a boost control valve.
I am running the car at 7psi currently.

This is a nippy little Mini which certainly can surprise modern traffic is great fun.
