When that book was out yes. I have it and remember a pic in it of a scrapyard brimmed with mk2 escorts that you sourced most the bits from! Those were the days.. i recommend that book! Even if it is for a chuckle

Just the ones pictured left. Austin Metro one has got the detailed chapters on A series gearbox and diff rebuilding that they removed from the later Mini workshop manuals. £5 posted, anyone?
