Agreed, I'd be stuck without mine now.

Even at £50 they're a bargain.

I had to cut a nut off on my van the other day that the grinder couldn't get in at. Powerfile to the rescue.

That's because all of the locals are stuck in traffic due to the m56 Fire!

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Bought some Silverline replacement belts, they seem pretty shite really (like most of the Silverline stuff I have encountered)...

Even compared to the B&D belts they wore out quickly and snapped at the slightest provocation

But I do tend to snap anything smaller than a 3mm drill bit so it might just be me *happy*

I use the ones matty has linked to.

I used my powerfile more than I use an angle grinder to be honest.

I find them much easier to use. A heck of a lot safer and just that much more versitile.

Powerfiles are usually cheap though at the Black and Decker shop at Donny Lakeside though Brett. I've had one from there before at less than Machine Mart etc price.

I don't know why, but when these belts snap I find myself genuinely annoyed. Probably because every time it makes me jump like a small child.
