I'm after internal door hinges . All of mine were knackered .

I have been told to avoid non genuine ones

Good luck finding decent used ones!

I ended up going through the whole box at Mini And Metro Spares and came away with a compromise, a passenger side lower hinge and a slightly better driver side upper hinge.

I agree on the non genuine hinges as the slop was just as bad as the ones I wanted to replace. My only real thoughts at that point were to have the hinges bushed.

I have some very good original ones came of a low mileage 71. I have been saving them for a bloke who said he would give me 60 quid for them but that was 6 months ago and heard nothing since!

I bought no gen and they were so pap I sold them, Instead of bushing I just drilled them out finished with a reamer to a larger size and knocked in a new pin which was a nice sliding fit with the middle bit and interference fit with the outer bit
