So I brought an mx5 Last august had some fun! and Monday last week gearbox went bang lost 4th gear. so Saturday I brought this thing.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

And to change em it's engine out job but why I'm on there gonna check shells and crank floats then reduction pulley and intercooler plus cat back do me on this

If i could pick up something like that for that money, i could see me using it as a back up daily driver. Was it an ebay find?

I knocked him down by £20 what paid fuel on my grandads car to take me up

but low price due to clutch and timing chain plus few other little bits like rust on tail gate but genuine as it comes

Have you found a clutch & timing chain yet?
If so where did you brought it from?
as when I bringed myne it had a similar problem

Chain and clutch both coming from 1320 mini then doing the work on it

Rob with a reduction pulley it changes way it drives, I love it already and haven't even drove it properly :/

Thats a bummer, new shells and timing gear, or just dump a new engine in?

Crank needs a regrind aswell but gonna rebuild it then I know it's a strong motor

Quicker, easier and cheaper to find another engine.

Where will you bring the new engine from?

Or bring on the rebuild?
