hey

i currently have a blitz super sound with a soft spring which isnt dumping at all, its connected to the plenum with a boss and a hole drilled in it, with this dumpvalve it has a vacuum take off which i have T'd into the boost gauge, now when i rev it a little the boost gauge goes into negative boost, and ive checked the gauge works as ive had a foot pump on it and it does move

im guessing that ive connected this up incorrectly as the boost is going into the vacumm port on the DV holding it shut and not getting to the gauge?

this is the fitting guide http://www.blitzpowerusa.com/techsupport/p...v-universal.pdf

it is saying that it must be connected to both vacuum and boost before the throttle body/carb?

sorry if im being a bit dull haha

thanks guys *happy*

post a picture or draw a detailed schematic of exactly how you've it plumbed.

Pictures would probably be better.

But if you're making no boost there wont be anything to dump

And yes boost would hold the DV shut under normal operation.

speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

I'll guess that the vacuum pipe is connected to the take off on the carb intended for the dizzy vac advance which is the wrong side of the butterfly.

And it'll make next to no boost when revving on the driveway.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

If you're Using the metro turbo manifold, just take out the banjo bolt for the servo and drill/tap that.
