Chaps,

Whats the difference between this exhaust from PlayMini...

http://playmini.co.uk/cgi-bin/online/storepro.php

and this one from minispares...

http://www.minispares.com/product/Classic/...ack%20to%20shop

Price wise there is a small difference but on screen they look the same. Or are they the same?

Its not clear but the play mini system has a larger bore (cant recall exactly). The rc40 one you have linked has the same tailpipe but the system bore is 1.75" and a bit small from what we found in the past for high power use

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

Go for the play mini 2" system nothing comes close fro outright flow and a nice! Sounding note.

2" single backbox ......... not the 1.75"

Depends on spec Dave. Rc40 has always been a good performer for smaller power

Guys what do I need in the way of hangars...? Does the link pipe connect to the down pipe from the turbo and then to the back box and just hang free? Can't remember what the old one was doing when I took it off.... And the back box, is it just the two hangars connected to the subframe? I see when searching that some guys use stainless steel jubilee clips instead of the rubber rings...

Personally, i use the hanger kit with the rubber bobbins. Only need the kit if you are using the earlier rear frame (later post 93 i think cars had the hangers welded to the frame). There are 2 points on the rear frame to mount/ hang it from

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

The requirements for an exhaust system for a NA engine are completely different to those of a Turbocharged engine.
For best performance up to 120hp or so I'd say the RC40 will be adequate. A 2" system will probably be to large for all but the most highly tuned NA A-Series.
A Turbocharged A-Series on the other hand is a completely different matter.
