Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem. |

Dismantling= spark plug socket and a hammer. I use a lambda sensor socket as you can get a magnet in the side. to re assemble I use one of those tools you just push down on and it clips the collets in. for aquard heads I use a valve spring compressor thats lieka big G clamp. Got to be ohnest, I run a garage these days, and dont feel the need to build a proper bench top setup. but if i were inclined it would involve two wood bases which were "V" shaped so the head can be tiled to any angle, and a simple long lever with a part dropping down to act on the valve spring retainer which can obviously be moved. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Trego VFP 50. Admittedly, it's not mine, but it certainly takes all the pain out of disassembly/ reassembly of a 16v head! On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:
