Warwick.

So I'm trying to trial fit the Curley roof- Speaking to the guys its designed to occupy the space the steel roof was originally meaning I have to tap in the corners of the steel lip I have left to bond it to.

Question being, how far do I have to go with tapping the edges in? I have some rather shit looking gaps going on, although tapping in the corners so far has helped to a degree but when you look at the lip from inside the car its pulled away from the roof rather than sat to it which'll leave me with some bonding issues.

Another issue with the car is that it used to be a rally car so probably not the straightest shell going! so im just wondering if the issues are just down to me not using a decent shell (whoops!)

Without the frame around the window the top can be eased up to sit in the correct place, but I don't want it to return after its bonded into place, the screens in I thought everything would be fine.

Other than the back of the car, this is the worst section for gaps, if I just keep tapping in the steel it might sit better?

Just curious if others have had issues or if its just my shell

Dave.

Looks about the norm, just cut some slits in the corners and keep bending it over til its sits proper

Saw a couple up close at the last show. Both had levelled the joint with black seam sealer and although the roof on one of them was clearly raised more than the other, neither looked terrible.

Your's doesn't look bad at all.
