I am considering my flywheel options, and intend to fit the SH engineering one, with corresponding backplate.

I'm going back to a full weight verto on my turbo. For a road car, especially turbo, I dont think the comprimise in idle and traffic driving is worth the gains.

There are some thoughts that the super feather weight flywheels cause fretting on the crank. I was advised to use the minispares version I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Launching a turbo motor with a heavy flywheel is much better. Your mini (beautiful build btw) is one giant compromise in idle and traffic, with all the trouble you've went through to get sub 500kg you're now adding kilo's of static weight and around 50 kilo's of dynamic weight???? |

Hmm can't decide if I should replace mine or not. Would have to get it balances up. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Man up, the Sprint has Swifty extra light flywheel, paddle plate, grey diaphragm and is easy enough for Mrs. Wigi to go to Tesco in even with the 310sp cam and Salisbury diff I seriously doubt it! |
