I did try the search but can't seem to find the answer and i'm trying to order a load of bits today.

Does anyone know what size thread this adapter has on the pipe connection side? is it 1/2" BSP as per the oil coolers they sell?

It looks like -4 AN (37°) to me, but could also be 1/4 SAE (45°). Deffinately not BSP.
