Not a strictly mini thing here but this is one of the most complete failures ive seen on an old style land rover engine.

19J Turbo diesel (t25?) loud rattling and loss of compression on no2 cylinder...... as was towed in to us.









Looks like the pre-combustion chamber has come loose been smashed in half by a piston stroke and the half that has fallen in the cylinder has then broken the piston apart, bare conrod and pin have then had fun with the cylinder........

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

bit of "steel seal" through the header tank should sort that out *hehe!*
