I'm about to start a bit of tinkering on my exhaust manifold to blade the dividers at the end before it bolts to the turbo. I'm wondering if any benefit will be gained from matching the exhaust ports to the head so there's a perfect unrestricted flow from the head exhaust ports into the manifold. Any input is welcome as I want to get things as efficient as possible Masturbation is not a crime its a hobby |

In theory yes . In practice it is probably minimal providing the mismatch is not too large, although i'm more of the

There's often a pretty big mismatch from head to manifold as standard, the manifold often overhangs the port by a good few millimetres, more so when the head's ported.
