You might not have any issues as it's not all coming out at once but you could of done with some diagonal bracing in there really, rectangles can fold in on themselves whereas triangles can't ...or a lot more force is required to do so

Looking good to me, but definitely triangulate it - will be MUCH more rigid.

Someone "helped out" by doing some welding on my wife's Mini shell. Pretty much the same job you're about to tackle, but with no bracing; Then a few days after while still in the garage the windscreen just shattered. I'm not looking forward to putting it right *frown*

Looking good.

When you cut the floor out, the panel in the footwell will be able to flap around on the lower edge. The edge is fine to move around a bit as you'll need to a bit of give to weld it to the floor, but you don't want the lower subframe mounts to move when you pull the panel the panels together. Tack a long horizontal section, butted up against the panel, across the mounts, ending at inner wings.

Or.... leave the subframe in. Things that you don't want to move are the subframe mounts and door mounts.

From what you've shown so far, I think you're not going to have a problem. Good work :)

There's a shot I saw recently from Owens fabrication of a shell with no floor in it that had less than half the bracing you have. I'd imagine it's easily enough.
