i have just brought a fuel pressure reg off of a metro turbo. it came bolted to a bracket with another unit bolted to it.
a square shaped unit with two electrical connectors, one open brass pipe one end and another pipe opposite blocked with a cap
can someone let me know what the unit is and what it does and what it connects to?????

That is the solenoid operated valve used by the Metro in connection with the reduction in boost below 4000rpm.

You don,t need it unless you want to use it to have two stage boost on a switch.
