Bought some 3/8" 24tpi for tightening the cylinder head but order the wrong ones, bought as a kit 300-8332 but this is the 7/16 socket, will this do the job or better go for the 1/2 socket version?

The base of the 7/16 socket have 15.8mm, the nut in the EN24 studs from minispares is 14.3mm, but the wall is so thin, will this do the job? probably this will allow to wrench without taking the camshafts.

Have the k1200 washers to use.

Edit: Quick jump to the garage, the 7/16 socket wont fit whit the cam but have enough clearance whit the k1200 washers. but still a thin wall I think...

I think I post it wrong, should be in Tech.

Those are the same nuts I have. I am still going to put my cams on the lathe and tickle a little bit off the diameters to make removal easy. I am also going to be machining a few sockets down to "thin" the wall for easier access.

Finally, don't worry about the wall thickness of the nut, it is plenty strong enough.
