Rebuilt 998 A+ Unleaded Engine

For sale is a standard 998 engine I had built by Spot-On Mini's in Bedfordshire. I have receipts of the work totalling over £1400. Unfortunately it wasn't rolling roaded and had been running with a rich needle, resulting in bore wash and some smoke. Engine was removed and the problem diagnosed as the rings not seating. The bores were measured up to see if they needed to be over-bored but this was not needed and they cleaned up with just a hone to give a piston-bore clearance of 2thou. New rings were bought and the engine reassembled.

The engine covered 100-200 miles since the first rebuild and 0 since the repair and refurbish.

I am selling because while this was going on I was collecting parts for my turbo engine, which was supposed to be a long term project but has now caught up, so I need this out of the way to finish that one.

The spec then:
998 A+ Block: Measured, honed, acid cleaned, new cam bearings, etch primed and painted black.
998 Crank: Measured, cleaned
998 Rods and Flat top Pistons: New rings, ring gaps checked and fitted
998 Camshaft: Inspected for wear/pitting - none found
998 CAM4810 Unleaded Head: Stripped, chemically cleaned, valve guides and seats checked, valves lapped, reassembled, painted.
998 DAM5252 A+ Gearbox, 3.44FD: Cleaned, inspected, new layshaft and layshaft bearings fitted. Minispares competition diff pin.
Pre-Verto Flywheel and clutch, orange diaphragm plate.

The engine will come as you see in the first picture, with starter, but no other ancilleries.
