Hi guys, got an mpi fuel tank for sale just taken out of my old turbo mini.
Everything works, was told the pump was noisy when I brought the tank but it works fine and sounded just like a fuel pump to me.
Any way looking for £50 collected from Grantham or can take to Bingley with me.

Hi Buddy,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but unless it's had the pump swapped that is an SPI tank. It's got the long filler neck and no sound deadening on the exterior.

Its nearly midnight, ive just been out to the garage in the rain, spiderman onesie donned to make sure my mpI tank is not an spi. Mine looks like that one but has a square piece of sound deadening on the inside. Is mine an mpi then?

While at it...

This is spi right? Is it suitable for a 1293 turbo build gt1752 ? Aiming to run 12 to 15 psi...

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018

Hi John, the neck it's not as long as a carb model (not knowing about neck lengths) just thought this was odd when swapped the tanks. And it looks as though it had some stuff glued to the front of it where the strap comes over the tank?
It worked well in my 998 turbo. Was sold it to me as an mpi as apparently that's what it came out off.
Strange.

Probably best to whip the pump out and put the part no into google. That will clear it up.
