Here starts the rebuild of my metro turbo engine to go in a mini Van.
Have a s/hand gt1752 which I'll rebuild & post pics on here (assuming all goes well!)

Just nipped in the garage & removed the rockers & cylinder head, bores & pistons don't look too bad for an engine that's sat in a garage for 15years.

Plan on a rebore +20thou, omega pistons, reground crank - just need to decide whether I need a steel centre main cap & undercrown oil cooling jets... Hmmm

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

a centre main strap is advised and under crown cooling jets are not needed. but if they turn you on go for it

Good luck with the build, van looks in fairly good condition (what we can see of it)...

You need to use 'photobucket' or something similar to upload your pics, type 'upload' into the search bar as its been discussed already. You should be able to figure it out, its quite simple once you've done it once or twice..

Well engine finally ready for the van, but van isn't ready for the engine! Couple of months I guess, all that's left is to sort pipework and intercooler, Megajolt.......

Spec:
Original turbo engine and box
Benross cylinder head
Kent 266 cam & duplex gear and chain
+20 thou rebore
Omega pistons
Arp rod bolts and head studs
Fully rebuilt gearbox with new Baulk rings, and 2 big brgs
Minispares X pin diff
2.95 final drive ( to keep 10" wheels and sensible cruising revs)
Matty manifold
Gt1752
