Hi there question I have for you today is has anyone on here ever rebuilt a set of standard 4 pot calipers.

I purchased a set which wasn't quite as good as stated so feel just do a rebuild and have done, save messing around. I've never done this before so so thought id better ask before I do it wrong. The pistons and seals seem cheap enough so question is do i just pop the piston out with air preasure clean and rebuild or am I way off.

Thanks Tony *tongue*

Itīs not that difficult.
Be careful when you pot the pistons out. They have a tendency to suddenly come out really fast. Be sure not to have your fingers in between.
Clean it very thoroughly with alcohol.
Reasemble with rubber grease.
Thatīs it

If i have more toys than you when i die, I WIN

I got the pistons out with a grease gun. Then obviously gave them a really good clean out!

If you have or can get your hands on mini magazine (maybe 2-3 editions ago I think) they did a step by step guide in the tech section...
