hi can anyone help please, i have recently bought a hif44 turbo carb, fitted it turn ignition on and fuel is being pumped into the plenium chamber and filling it up, is this just a case of a seal leaking?

Sounds like you've got the fuel feed on the wrong barb. is there two(three?) on that side of the carb? http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.p...tid=469104&fr=0 |

Could be a whole lot of things from too much fuel pressure, incorrectly set float hight, stuck jet (open) to just plumbed up wrong

Check that the bores arent full of fuel, i accidentally fitted the feed to the wrong barb when checking fuel pressure and only realised something was amiss when it dribbled out the plug hole, syringed all the plenum, bores, inlet, carb out etc to be sure it was all out, On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:
