i have a set of low comp dished forged pistons. the dish in the pistons are off set to one side ! not sure which way round these should be fitted. i would assume the off set would be bias towards the intake valve but not 100 % sure. can anyone confirm or even better post a pic as i cant find one

Where are the offset dishes in relation to the gudgeon pin? Im sure the dish should be closer to the spark plug ie front of the engine

it the risk of looking like a prat....... iv just looked at them again and off set can only run away or towards the spark plug which sort of answers the question unless my crank runs in a different direction to everyone else

lol easily done,

worth mentioning also... I asume this is 1275 rods and pistons, in which case, there is an offset to the big ends so the rods need to go in a certain way, if its the wrong way they will bind on the crank as you tighten the big ends.
