I Want something with low exhaust lift. I have a 998 block / 12G940 head combo, but would rather not pocket the block on this one if I can get away with it, as it may get rebuilt to a different spec at a later date.

Possibles cams so far...

MG Metro / KC500,
MD256,
MD266,

... but let me know what you've got as there may more cams that might work. If it's a not so common cam, measuring the exhaust lobe height would be really really helpful.

I have got is a standard 1275 profile and have been tempted to just use that as it looks better than the standard 998 ones, but I don't want to regret it later on once the engines fitted and running.
