I'm on the lookout for a bare K1100 fuel rail.

the main problem is they have a built in fixed fuel pressure reg.

I used one without issue, in fact it was a much neater installation other than the fuel lines pointing up, which is the main rreason for wanting the metal fuel rail. I will be adding a fuel reg and changing the fuel line connection oriantation to suit my application I'd have no problem using the K1200 fuel rail if it was all I got. well, depends if your referenceing fuel pressure to boost... so depends on what boost your running and injector size ect.

No, the 16v has a more pronounced stand off spot welded on. The 8v sits closer to the head on account of the differing injector position.
