What's wrong with the plastic one! Think of the weight saving! :)

Try looking for someone selling an engine in the UK then mail them to see if they have any of the other parts?

Why is that a problem? I used one without issue, in fact it was a much neater installation other than the fuel lines pointing up, which is the main rreason for wanting the metal fuel rail. I will be adding a fuel reg and changing the fuel line connection oriantation to suit my application *happy* I'd have no problem using the K1200 fuel rail if it was all I got.

well, depends if your referenceing fuel pressure to boost... so depends on what boost your running and injector size ect.

All my hoses have currently got -6 ends on braided teflon hose... so cant just clamp them on the 1200 rail, was going to solder Jic ends onto a K1100 rail.

with a lot of boost... aiming to be able to run upto 30psi, with the 1200 reg at 3.5 bar that only leaves a 1.3bar pressure drop across the injectors, which could be an issue.

it pains me to say it but you are covering old ground. I replaced the reg with a refferenced one back in 2008. You only had to ask *wink*

You are right though with the ptfe hose but then, i use sytec rubber hose *tongue*

Umm,

Are the k100(8v) and k1100 rails interchangeable?

Lowestoft, Suffolk.

No, the 16v has a more pronounced stand off spot welded on. The 8v sits closer to the head on account of the differing injector position.
Excuse the poor picture, it was from from when I was first toying with an 8v many years ago.
