Sounds like there is a few of you interested in days gone by so I have dug out some old photos. Some of these date back to when the Showdown used to run at Santa Pod so it goes to show how old I am...

Anyway, here goes.

This is my first proper turbo Mini just about to smoke a big block V8 drag Capri.

One in the paddock. The red car is Nick Crush's very impressive KAD 16v 1380 which now lives in Australia with Nick and his family.

These are of the last of my Turbo Minis (so far) and definitely the best. This was the year I ran in the Extreme mighty Minis and rocked up to the Showdown on old Yoko A008s and race camber settings.

Nice one, love seeing the 'old days' haha reminds me of when i used to take a disposable camera to mini shows when i was a ickle kid

Last one from me today is a close up of the engine bay. It was mighty tight in there and not mush-room to work on it. Geddit???

I forgot about the Play Mini Carbon Rocker cover... soooo yummy. You will see ERL water injection in there as well and we were running something like 170 BHP without an intercooler... what was I thinking???

Look how different Santa Pod is as well Parking up and pitching tents where the huge spectators stand is now just seems very weird indeed!
