Found this awesome build thread, not mine. This guy is also casting his own custom m45 supercharger inlet manifolds for blow through use.

Swansea boyo!

He's trying to sell them on TMF, he hasn't even taken his car on the rollers to show the results *surprised*. His pick up is lovely though!

I know what u mean, as its alot of effort n good fabrication but i never went over n looked at it at the show purely because of lack of hinges i just thought oh its just a converted estate n the matt black led me to just believe it was a rattle can job.. if id of sin the blog before i would of had a closer look.. my fault for prejudging i suppose

Huge amount of effort but I don't like the style of more than 50% of it which is a shame because the engineering and mechanical side looks really good.

I quite like that manifold solution, ok its got some drawbacks, but compared to the usual suck through arangement its definatly a leap forward, and is a simple fit.

That manifold is very cool. I like it a lot - but would have done it slightly differently. I'd buy one if the price was right though.

Some great skills in that project. That said, perhaps I'm alone in my opinion, but pickups are simply "meant" to have external hinges...

Yeah a great read (i skimmed through). Love the 'podifold' http://www.podifold.com

Love to know where he gets them made and how much it costs.

Edit: prices are now on the website £550 for the bare manifold.

£550 is a lot for a bare manifold.

I like the idea of his extended clutch arm. Over engineered, but I like the idea.

550 is a lot but considering they are all basically one off's its not that bad.

i spose if a few sell he might do a batch, which could nock the price down.

I will say the casting looks very clean.
