Back in the days I was running a tuned Dolomite Sprint and wanted to upgrade from the pair of 1 3/4 HS, the 2" were like rocking horse shit so I had to use 2" HDs (a truly horrible design) so you might find them hard to track down even if they are bigger.

hard turning right it goes rich, hard turning left it goes lean, as seen on the AFR gauge...

I guess my point was that with a HIF the left/right (or forward/backwards) changes should be less with the float wrapped around the jet.
