Anybody know the weight of the battery box and boot floor. I'm considering fitting a composite boot floor. I heard mixed messages about the weight saving. Battery box on Amazin states 7kg, which surely isn't correct.

Be careful Matt! A stiff breeze and it may blow away! If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

That's great thanks. Is that for a new complete floor, or what you cut out for the new carbon floor? That's complete floor. |

Steve I've already got a 3kg rear beam. Hi there, What rear beam is that? And what does 3kg include? Camber and toe adjustment and handbrake cable fixing / routings? Does it take a std trailing arm? Sorry for the numerous questions, just interested Cheers |

It's a KAD beam for normal arms. It weighs exactly 3kg, not including any brackets and bolts. They weigh another 2.25kg in total from memory. The brackets are really thick and strong though. Edited by alaskanow0 on 1st Oct, 2014. Class C 3rd Place Avon 2011 14.18 @101mph |

I know what you mean though, but the rest of the car is already cut up. Ie. Flip front, turbo box, Webber box, back seats, bins etc. i understand now matt
