i have a dizzy here that is a. : 59dm4 41932b date code 4282 is this a MK1 metro turbo dizzy? its electronic with the module separate on a little loom.

would i need to inspect the bob weights to find out what advance it has?

If it is a turbo one . . . Google it, No it will have maximum. Advance of 28 degrees, you could strip it inspect it and service. It especially If its as old as me. . . . Lol

i have googled it, not sure if the info is accurate or not. i can see down the gap in the side 11 1/4 stamped on the bob weight. is this total advance for that distributor?

if so then with a initial timing of 7 deg + 11 on the dizzy would bring it to 18 degs total. which means its a turbo one? :)
