Hi gents,

Some of you may remember me, most will not lol

After a 2 year (non self-enforced) hiatus from the turbo build, the project is once again back on track and plodding along.

Long story short, the garage who agreed to do some bodywork and drop the engine in umm'd and ah'd for 18 months whilst doing no work on it.

After taking the car back into my possession it is now with McNair Motorsport run by Lee McNair - former right hand man to Bill Richards for over 20 years.

Anyway, to the details.

The engine was built by Benross, 1293, T2, Turbo Phil head and all the typical internals, ARP bolts, cast pistons etc etc

As she was when she got there:

The strip down

Tubbing the rear arches

Trial fitting the arches

So the plans to come are:

Fully adjustable suspension all-around which is in the process of being fitted.
Internal gear linkage
Full respray (Colour opinions welcome!)
Full cage
Carbon dash
AEM gauges

I'll keep this updated as things progress

Quick update.

The rear squab seat has been removed and so too have the back pockets. All the sound deadening was there before.

So happy with how things are progressing.

Paint has been decided and once the final parts of bodywork have been completed, it'll be off to get a new lick of colour.
