Hi Guys, can anyone advise me on what rating/type of spark plugs and also the recommended thermostat temperature I should be running with the following spec.
1480 with 11cc omega pistons, benross head, T2 turbo, Avonbar cam and megajolt ignition. Hope that's enough info.

As for plug heatrange . and to be honest I only recently found out what the heck the heat range does, it depends on usage.

In short the lower numbers 4-6 will be hotter than the colder ones 7-10 A hotter plug like a 5 will self clean better at low throttle angles and pottering about with you stock 850 cc but will probably overheat and cause you to burn a hole in a piston on a turbo charged monster, even when you are not running lean . A (too) cold plug will tend to foul easier which is sometimes inconvenient but a lot less expensive than pre ignition or detonation. Of course not starting 50% of the time is also pretty bad

I would wager a guess at a NGK either a B8ES or a B9ES for high boost use, but i'm shure it will turn up when you search

That sir, is not rust, it is the progressive mass reduction system

What boost? I would probably go with Ngk bpr6es they did fine for me 20psi no problem I think my water injection kicked in around 15psi and when this was on it allowed boost upto (and over) 25psi
I struggled alot with fouling bpr7es at idle
and cruise
But please do read your plugs if you going to be winding the boost up, colour charts can be found on google

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

Thanks for the info and forgot to state the car will be for road use only and dependant on rolling road figures when finally ready for the road I'm guessing will probably run between 12-14psi boost.

So no any thoughts on the thermostat temp or is that dependant on the spark plugs?
