Annoyingly, after spending the last few weeks refitting my engine I have gone and dropped the little nut/bolt that secures the choke cable to the throttle linkage. Never to be seen again.

Has anyone got one I can buy and finally finish it off??

Cheers

David

As it's so close to MOT time I didn't want to wait til next week to get it finished. As the order probably wouldn't go through until tomorrow sometime I wasn't sure if get it for the weekend.

Thanks for the link though. I may order one anyway.

Could use a small bolt and washers for the time being, so it would be nut, washer, choke cable, washer, nut, a mm of space for the nut to rotate, choke lever, washer, bolt head.

Or even drill a small hole through the bolt and nuts either side of the hole with washers to clamp the cable, with a little head scratching I'm sure you can sort something :)
Before I've passed the cable through an electrical block connector (small one),looped the cable through the hole on the choke lever, back through the connector and tightened up the grub screws.

Good ideas Carl, I'm hoping to have one now tomorrow of a bloke nearby. If not I will drill a cap head as you mention above.

Thanks for the help.
