Hi guys,
so I finally got around to looking at the mini again and completely forgot both driveshafts and hardy spicer couplings are fooked!
Now I'm desperately trying to find a set of driveshafts (preferably the competition en24 shafts) and a pair of couplings

Cheers
Rich

Minispares do rebuild kits for the couplings

Edited by paul wiginton on 6th Jul, 2014.

I seriously doubt it!

Cheers Paul, I'll have a look.. The caps on the ujs are loose in the cast coupling so not sure what can be done. Trying to avoid £100 each for new joints

I doubled checked today and both couplings are worn. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and buy 2 new couplings, other than changing ujs now and thrn I don't want to mess around within wont couplings again. Defiantly sticking with the hardy spicers though.
Might look at having my worn couplings repaired as joe mentioned as a spare set

Thanks guys

There's play in the coupling around the cap for the needle rollers on the uj. Hope that makes sense.

Had a great result with this .. Went to Dave mac props in coventry and they're replacing both ujs, both splined sides of the joint and repairing 1 yoke .. Grand total of £61 inc vat. They make the hardy spicer units for minispares and they charge 100 each!
