Done the usual search and looking at removing the bolt on the rear of the block near the clutch and fitting a banjo for the water feed to the turbo if this can be done. Already have the genuine saab water pipes that are 8mm OD

Does anyone know the thread pitch for the banjo bolt?

Also would you return the water back to the top of the radiator as need to get some alloy welding done so getting an additional 8mm pipe welded on my alloy rad is no issue.

Cheers Andy, may just take the bolt to the Hydrolics shop so no mistakes are made.

Still need answer about the return to the radiator?

That is where mine goes.

I found that the water feed from the back of the block runs very close to the turbo hot side and I have a short length of silicone hose in it, well wrapped in heat resistant cloth.

Lee just a thought before you get everything sorted out for the block, the downpipe does come across this water outlet hole slightly so consider a 90 straight out of it.

Seen the 90 on your build buddy, looking at coming out the block with a banjo to a small piece of silicone hose to connect uo to the standard sabb water feed since i have them.

The 90 I have at the moment is too big so as you say a banjo into the block would be ideal
