Trying to work out roughly what my CR is on my Allegro engine. It says in the haynes manual that it should have been 8.8:1 but I have since put an Mg 1300 head and cam in it.

Head CC is the same. The pistons are different. In the 13's at last!.. Just |

Seconded. All 12G940 heads are the same size no matter if they are from 1968 or 2000. On 13th Jul, 2012 Ben H said:

Cc is the same. Compression height is different. In the 13's at last!.. Just |

If an old A-series, I think the pistons are around 11cc.
