for sale my bmw k100rs 16v head been in dry storage for a few years was keeping for a 16v conversion, the head is still on the engine, you can have the whole engine or I can split, head will come complete with valves cams etc. I'm based in Kendal Cumbria I can arrange a courier for the head around £20, or a pallet for the whole engine £45 ish. I'm looking for £350 for the head and throw in the whole engine if required.. Edited by jrs on 3rd Feb, 2014. |

The K100 is 8 valve mate, the 1100/1200's are 16v.

There is indeed a K100RS "4v" Motorcycle. The K1 also had the same 1000cc engine with the "4v" head. Not many of them about as BMW shortly went over to the K1100 veriety.

Ok si the pic has been added. I could be interested but not at that price. Looking at the pic it might still be a bit of a gamble, its not the cleanest i've seen. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

that's just storage dirt would all clean off spark plugs are still in! rags in the inlet ports. if any one is genuine interested I can clean it and take the head off I can ask turbo phil to inspect and vouch for it.
