Basically what methods have worked for you and how effective are they.

I'd take it to an engineering place and get it cleaned in the chemical bath; cost me £10 last time and was cheaper than buying all the cleaners myself |

i think the preferd method is using the parts cleaner that some of us have in our kitchen but only when the other halfs out the house

I just use Gunk and when that runs out I use old petrol. This gets the worst of it off. Then it is a combination of brushes (various, plastic, metal, brass, tooth, etc) and a bit of elbow grease.

Im sure you knew what i ment but for any police/narcotics agents monitoring the inter webs i ment coca cola (there are other fizzy cola drinks available) i might try it on some old parts to see if it works. |

dishwasher then chuck it in my blast cabinet with crush walnut shell for alloy parts. Then cover in clear laquer. Pistons and cylinder head I chuck in blast cabinet as well Masturbation is not a crime its a hobby |
