Looking for one more for the extra space it would afford me for my intercooler.

ANyone got one? or a clever starter with the solenoid located on the top instead of at 45 degrees.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

I imagine it's a possibility with a bit of TIG welding.

I've rotated mine. I nicked the idea from matty.

Of your solenoid is at 90deg, it's a metty starter. The mini one is at 45deg ish.

I'll dig out pics if you like.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

stop being a tight arse and just buy one *tongue* There's a few merchants with discount offers on at the mo. I bought mine from Moss when they had a VAT free offer on.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I've got the GXE1005 high torque motor that Mini Spares sell in one of my boxes of bits.

I can bolt it up to an engine and grab a pic for you if you want?

has no one matched up what starter most of the hi torque ones are? the main starter is a Denso, as its very similar to ones on toyotas, then looks like a custom billet CNC'd mounting plate and drive gear looks like a factory produced job, possibily original mini one modified onto the denso body...

Some pic of my Mini Spares starter. The main flat portion of the body is about 25MM back from the outermost part of the transfer case.
