Looking at fitting an RTS clutch in the turbo mini, already done the relevant search and found the build trend and even connected sporcket.

The question is how can you tell if a pressure plate is an AP. Already have a complete AP clutch kit that came out of the mini and a second pressure plate but not sure of its manufacturer.

Do they both need to be AP ?

I'll post some pictures later.

I'm looking at putting one of these together as well, where are you planning to get the spacers, bolts and washers from?

coolio thank god i dont need a reality check *Clapping*

For bolts going to use local Brabbin and Rudd and can get spacer made by uncle.

But will probably just get Sprocket to do it.

The blue spot on the 1st pictures indicates that that may be a high-torque version that usually sells for over £100.

You can't go on the spot alone though. If the fingers measure around 2.8mm thick, then it is.

You may wish to sell that and find another 998 clutch.

WOW, i'll have to check the thickness of the fingers.

Maybe an idea to source a second 998 plate.

Where have you seen them for sale at that price Paul.

MED £125
Min-its £141

Must be worth £50 second-hand.

2 off 998 springs will handle around 150 lbft by my reckoning.

Can you fit two mismatched springs? I.e a 1275 and a 998?

I'm presuming Brett, the choice of springs determines the force needed on the clutch pedal? So 2 1275 springs will bind stronger, but require more pedal force than a 1275 and a 998 spring etc etc....?

I suppose I could fit it to Shauna's 998T when she does it! As it's already preverto, now there's a thought.
