Ok i think ive done my first error, im planning on building a daily 998 turbo based on the spares ive got kicking around in the garage, and collecting the rest

i thought id start with the turbo so i popped over to ebay and boom T25 (i know its old hat) but it was a good cheap price and appears in good nick so i went for it....

then read some more... and i think ive got the wrong turbo , its a T25 of a nissan 200SX, now im just hoping that it is a AR.48 but i think its probably a .68 or something large

does anyone know? and i know its probably covered but what turbo should i go for for the following spec

998CC block pocketed
12G940 metro turbo head
mg metro 1275 cam
Hif44 turbo (well a hif44 refurbed with turbo kit)

thanks in advance

prob a .64 , but have a look at the turbine housing , inside the turbine inlet flange area ,and on the side near the flange , it should be marked , in the casting .

Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM

You might get away with it if it is a 48, but better turbo would be a T2 or a GT15. There are others too all more suitable than any T25.

Thanks Ben, the turbo is in the post at the minute, so I won't know what's what until it arrives and I can't see from he images, I'm in no rush though so I can begin my search for a gt15, cheers
