hello can someone tell me where I can find a stock replacement air filter for a 1989 era mini ? |

I think it uses the same air filter as the turbo metro ...... but I may be wrong? others may correct me

not 2 sure about the metro, I believe the metro is under the hood. the era mini is mounted up under the left fender. |

I c a lot of ppls running the mushroom filter under the hood, but I would like 2 retain the stock era location as its a ram air set up that's fed air through the left front spoiler air duct. so I figure cool fresh air will b much better than hot under hood air. |

The filter element for an ERA Mini turbo airbox is an xr3i etc Ford fitment as far as I recall. I know it was not anything special for the Mini, as I was easily able to get a K&N filter for it back 20 years ago.

Back in 94 when I built mine, I could just go to my local Rover/Unipart dealer and they had the microfiche there and I was able to order the airbox from them ! Probably not as easy now lol 9.85 @ 145mph

If you're in a dusty environment, 100% use an OEM type paper filter. The box has a good size to it and filtration area that it would be of no restriction anyway 9.85 @ 145mph
