what size? i have some hypertecks or what ever they are called in 0.060" new in box with pins and rings just the way the shops sell them..
i no longer require them due to changing my mind (wanting more bananas n curllys) more boost potential

maybe try keith Calaver at Calver ST who re-sells the graham Russell pistons..

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

I've got a set of Keiths 1100 pistons - very nice, but flat topped and I'm struggling with compression ratios.

At +.100" and with the pistons .020" down the bore, I still need 300-odd CC in the head as the crowns are very thin and can't be dished more than about a millimetre.

The dished Hypatecs look like a better option for forced induction.

Metric is for people who can't do fractions.

Where can i get the hypatecs? do you know the cr that setup will give? I want pistons that can handle about 15-20 psi to be on the safe side but i don't want to low cr either because i will run it on E85 (etanol)

i got my hypeatecs from mini sport in australia SA they are the slotted ones not drilled (prefered) ther are the dished ones i thnink 7cc? i worked it out to be something like 27cc for about 8-1? from memory

the flat toped gr pistons will probily be a difcult to get a cr on tho as id need 34cc in the head to get 8-1 ! due to the flat tops
ill also be on e85 fuel ill be looking for about 8.75-9.35 cr

Had the same on my 998+.080 but the GR garenteed if I melted them he would give me another set FOC. Anyway I think I'm sorted with w think cometic gasket... and about 26cc in the head.

ahh k
thats good gr has confidence in his products im sure conditions apply?
had a look see out of interest about the cosmetic gasket seem to only do a 1275 under the mg category have i missed the small bore 998/1098 ones or are the 74mm ones good to use on the smaller bore size still?
im only really asking as i might run into cr trouble so may be looking for a thick gasket for more boost
