The immaculate brake set-up I've been collecting is now up for grabs as I'm going down a different route.

If you need some serious stopping power for your hybrid mini, this kit has been proven time and time again! Metro 4 pot brake set-ups are becoming less and less common on the "for sale" sections these days, let alone in anywhere near as good condition as this set.

What you will get:

1) Inspected/refurbished Metro 4 Pot Calipers in Black (work carried out by a highly qualified engineer)

2) New bleed valves throughout, new pad covers, new split pins

3) Brand New Vented & Grooved brake discs

4) Brand New EBC Green Stuff brake pads

5) Brand New Goodridge Mini-to-Metro conversion kit

6) Correct Drive Flanges

7) Brand New Stainless Steel caliper mounting bolts

8 ) Spare set of vented discs (used)

REDUCED TO £300

I've seen similar kits (with not as nice calipers) and none of the extras go for £340 on the 16vminiclub. I'm aware £400 seems high, but people always knock you down and i've been told I sell stuff for too little on the forum hence the price being what it is.

I'm not going to argue about those prices, but a rebuilt caliper from minispares costs £100 per side (don't look as smart as mine, seen them in the flesh), I paid £90 for discs, Pads cost around £50 for 4 pots, hoses vary from £40-50, drive flanges cost around £50 for the correct ones on ebay, spare set of discs (with plenty of life in them), and all the little bits. All equals just shy of £500

£400 does feel too steep still, so I'll drop the price to £350

NOW REDUCED TO £300

Had a few mesages asking to email some more photos so just popped down to the workshop after work and took some, thought I may as well put them on here to save people having to ask for them.

I only had time to take the nearside brakes off and take photo's, I left the other side on the car with the wheel on. The car hasn't been driven with these brakes on, they are merely fitted as a mock-up.Both sides are exactly the same.

New Grooved & Vented Disc (without drive flange)

Disc with correct drive flange fitted:

Spare vented discs (lots of life left in them):
