Another item I bought when I was on a spending spree for the mini, then later realised I didn't need it.

It's been sitting around for about 4 months, all boxed up, in the dry. It hasn't been used so is in brand new condition still. This is a red one.

Here's a link to the item to save me writing it all: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/D1-SPEC-VOLTAGE-...=item2c6ed7b72e

I'm after £40 delivered which is over £16 saving even from ebay.

Cheers,

Mike

Well apparently all these things :

"increase torque and horsepower
Improve fuel economy
Improve engine response
Quick engine start
Smoother engine running
Improved longer battery life
Lesser engine noise
Increase headlight brightness
Improve audio quality
Stabilized idling
Quick and simple installation"

...however I bought it as more of a bling item, I was buying my D1 Spec gauges (which are very very nice) and saw this, so bought one as well lol

Basically a power capacitor, stores electricity and uses it when there's a lot of strain or dip in voltage
Popular with big ICE installs

What a bullshit gimmick. Any modern ECU worth it's salt already has compensation for voltage fluctuation with regards injector opening time etc.

Hmmm as much as I appreciate that, I did say it was more "for bling" purposes......Secondly, enjoy:
