I just want one to cut the secondary catch out off, so if somebody local has a rotten one or was willing to cut me the catch bit out and chuck it in the post that would be grand.

I've got one sitting in the scrap pile at the shed. I'll check if it still has the bracket though as it had a fair bit already cut out of it and fitted with pins prevoiusly

Thanks for the offers chaps. It's been pointed out to me that you can buy the catches new, so I'm going to confiscate John's old bonnet and hack that to bits.
