In the words of Alan Sugar, it is with regret, but I'm having to let it go.

I bought this car in Feb 2009 and have pretty much used it daily ever since. Owing to a company car and the addition of other cars and a motorbike there is no longer room for this on the drive, and it's not going to get the use it once did.

It's been a great car, taking me to Le Mans and back, getting me to work in all weathers, loads of room for the kids and a weekly shop.

The car is a GRP monocoque with a Mk1 mini front subframe and bespoke beam frame at the rear with coilovers. It's mainly mini parts, with the exception of the door handles and lock and the headlights, which are Metro items. So no oddball hard to get stuff.

Basically a mini that wont rot in disguise (some may like the disguise others may not).

The car is correctly registered as Sabre Sprint (and not a Q plate) and I have all the history of the previous owners and the car it was originally built from from the DVLA. Plus some mags from the day, the build manuals and some sales bumf.

For those familiar with the car, it should be noted that it no longer has a turbo and the injection, this has been removed for other projects. Spec. as follows:

998 cc (+040), SW5 cam, MG metro head with pocketed block
Megasquirt mapped ignition (with all the wiring still remaining for the injection)
LCB and RC40 exhaust with extended 2" tailpipe
solid state electric fuel pump (return pipe remains if injection or turbo is wanted again)
MX5 seats with uprated speakers in the headrests (which is great)
5.5x13 minilights
Spax adjustable dampers all round

It's a lovely little engine with around 50bhp.

So there we have it, it is what it is, you either love it or hate it, but unlike minis it'll not dissolve and will still be here with all the cockroaches following nuclear war.

It has Tax, and will have an MOT by the end of the week. I can deliver at cost, but I don't have time to drag it to the aresends of the country, it'd happily drive anywhere though.

Damn-if I had not got this other car would have had your arm off for that, and attempted to plop a turbo k series motor in it
