I bought this after becoming single again, I have always liked the shape of the tro's and it came up for sale on here.
So my friend and I travelled down to kent to pick it up, it was just what I wanted somethingkto abuse and tinker with, on the journey home I noticed a huge amount of white smoke out of the exhaust while stationary, I did not notice this when I test drove it.

Anyway once home the strip down and modifications began. This is how it looked when I got it... (pics to follow as I'm using my phone atm)

have been wondering if a turbo'd K would go well in my metro. I certainly recall Denis was getting very good times in his mini with a similar setup......

always liked the idea of a high powered metro. Mk1 would be mice with the MG logo's...

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

I know alot of people slate me for it but I love it, its a perfect representation of me really.

If I get another (which i probably will) ill do a k 1.8t from a rover 75 160bhp in stock for and zandf have a few running 200bhp remapped.

Yes its broken down three times, the head was fucked when I got it, second was a parts failure (just recived my money back today) and third was some freaky happanings again resulting in cambelt failure.

Plans at the moment are keep the engine how it is minus getting a decent exhaust on it as it has a gti system and its killing it just a little. The main thing is weight, its going on an epic diet as its pritty much free just takes some time I will get more pics up asap as I continue my journey with it..

I give up on trying to upload atm i will do it tomorrow when im on the pc this is tsking far to long on my phone haha]

Everyone does gta wheels, I like the 14's and the rolling radious is smaller than the 185/60r13 that most people use. More pics will follow in about 45mins

I always fancied putting compomotive MOs on mine back in the day but they were going to cost as much as the car was worth

Then the start of sorting out the white smoke issues...

Old very tired rad

Fan off

The old head was fubar, it had cracks all over it ah well new head!

engine bay before a new lease of life [/URL]
The start of the front bumper, the plan was to allow more air in to where its needed.

Where the name came from, Ghetto Fab!

The start of the cam cover, i wanted something a little different

Wheels with new tires ready to hit the road again

Back on the road for its first outing, it ran sweet as a nut, strait to shell for some Vpower nitro+

That's it for the moment but i will update more pics as the build continues, just need to get it home as the parts are on order ready to be fitted *happy*.

future plans are a lot less weight, a decent exhaust system (zr160 6bolt manifold to a sprintex system) and a few little cosmetic mods but not how you may imagine *happy*

Swansea boyo!

OT but have you noticed any improvement with Vpower nitro+? I used it once and it made absolutely no difference! I notice much better mpg with super to normal but nothing with that stuff.

They don't die, they just get faster!

i like the party ring cam covers *happy*

vpower nitro+ will only help if the engine is mapped to run on it, chances are if its a ukdm model and not turbo the engine wont even know
you would notice the biggest difference a modern engine, modern turbo charged car or an import limping on knock maps

with mine it is night and day, makes a massive difference

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

My car was none of those haha so I guess that's why! I'm sure it's about 5p more expensive than super too *indifferent*.

Back OT, that cam cover looks pretty in purple!

Its pink not purple *wink*, the engine runs abit smoother but I didnt notice a difference between it and tesco 99, as for my daily clio its amazing in it, its a realitivly high compression 1149 turbo.

The car will be changing abit soon in the next few weeks *smiley*. Getting it ready for avon rwyb

Good care and attention? There's two bits of fucking plastic cable tied to the front bumper and a load of nail varnish on the cam cover!??

Ps. I do like this car, other than the above points.

My Kensington nearly ended up with a 1400 k turbo in it.

Like most of my cars I play with people dont like things but YOLO :'/.

Care and attention was needed, steering wheel was loose, as were the front and rear seats, I have gone over every nut and bolt and was astonished.

As for the cable tied plastic bits they seem to work really well, plus its an extra place to draw/write on!

Also anyone got a trailer that could fit this on? Need to get it back to mine and fix it lol.
