Has anyone run a T04E turbo on a 998/1275, i stumbled across it in the classifieds and i figured it should work considering it came off a 800cc snowmobile(im a canuck). I couldent find a map for it or any information except its good for about 400bhp (obviously not runing on a mini). please let me know if anyone knows anything about this.

From a quick google it seems to be associated a lot with a T3, possibly a common hybrid or something. So by the sounds of it its quite a big turbo, not really suited to a mini unless going for mega power. |

I wasn’t looking for mega boost or anything crazy just a little more of a punch when needed, but I guess it’s time to up rate the clutch and buckle up if that’s the case I hope it spools ok. come winter again I will probably post some build pics. |

Well then lets just go ahead and open a can of worms here and ask the biggest open ended question, what turbo should i use, its going to be a side mount with intercooler i only really want run under 10psi anything more and i would have to build an engine to support this and i don't have the time nor capital to do so. so in that light a cheap turbo is needed, something that is easy to find in the americas would be prefered. |

the 15 may be viable as your keeping to lowish boost, do you know what particular type eg GT1549.
