Hi all as per title looking for a trigger wheel for my megajolt kit, if anyone has one he must be willing to post.

Hi lee does this go on the outside of the pulley or you can bolt it on ?

you have to have the pully machined to allow the wheel to be fitted, then tack weld on.

tom fenton does a machined bottom pulley and bracket for £100, i must say its a nice piece of work.

i have a spare bottom pulley i could post to him if you wanted a machined one.

Hi Lee,
I would be interested but I am using a belt drive so I have clearence issues had to machine the dust cover at the back of the pulley to make it fit, that is why I am interested in your trigger wheel. Then I can fit it on my pulley and have it balanced. Thanks for the offer on the pulley, also cost wise it is too expensive with all the postage etc

If it helps, I'm using Toms set-up on a belt drive kit; I did have to spacer the bracket out though

I remove the dust cover anyway to machine the teeth into the pulley. It doesn't really perform a useful function in my opinion.

Pulley and bracket is £100, that includes UK post I would have to check cost to Greece.
Yes I need a pulley, typically folk send me their pulley, I machine and return.
Balancing, I can drill a hole opposite the missing tooth but really it needs balancing as part of the full assy if you want to do it properly.

Thanks Tom, but its a bit expensive with the postage and everything, I'd rather if lee could find postage for the trigger wheel and I can do the rest of the work here in Greece.

I machined an S pulley with grooves for the trigger wheel, most machine shops should be able to do this for not too much money.

it should be fine as long as they have a rotary table, most of which are accurate to 1/10th of a degree.
