Early MK1 type and a bargain too

I seriously doubt it!

I'm tempted myself to make something up with a later matrix and computer fans just to distribute heat into the cabin. Saves all that bulky mess sticking out once I have a bulkhead box.

Try and get the matrix from a metro, they are fairly small.

I was thinking of elec fans but the price for the parts and ur time isny really worth so I'm looking 4 one which i wud only need 2 make brackets up and I've had a look at metros but there expensive 4 crap so I ve had other suggestions like subraru 1 or cobra kitcar 1 but there very expensive 4 wat. they r but the mk 1 matrix seem abit of a bargain so I might just go dwn that route tbh
Sorry 4 the essay lol

Hey, I had the same problem when I built mine.

I ended up using a rad and fan off a water cooled scooter and building a sealed box onto it, added a couple of screen outlets and bolted it behind the dash. Its pretty small, works really well (I was unsure if a rad would work as they are quite different to a matrix but its fine for de-misting and does blow plenty of warm air out)

It cost me a fiver from an auto jumble, used a foot square of tin and chopped up an old mini heater and took an evening to make.

Have a look on ebay for 50cc water cooled scooter/ped rads, theres loads.

Possibly an option?

Heres a pic:

Is it just the matrix you want, or an actual heater unit ?

car builder solutions and some other places have retro fit heaters

Electric heaters wont be worth a wank.

This is a complete unit ready to rock, just add power and hot water

Not really intrested in electric 1s as all I ever hear about them are bad so won't bother but thanks anyway and the other 1 is really expensive 4 wat it is tbh there is a cheaper kitcar 1 on ebay 4 125 pound which is nearly the same but still well over budget so I think I will go wiv Paul option

and some fittings - http://www.scan.co.uk/products/scan-polish...r-zalman-tubing

as for the cone to round, make one or something similar to the one photoed previously.

Job done
